1. No-Cost Phone Consultation

Learn about us and our treatment

You’ll start with an in-depth, no-cost phone conversation with our Patient Engagement team. We'll discuss your mental health and medication history, explain our treatments in detail, and answer any questions.

If you fill out our web form, please check your email. Our Patient Engagement team will email you to schedule your first phone call.

2. Benefits Assessment

How much will treatment cost?

After your initial call, we will run a benefits assessment to confirm your coverage details based on your treatment interest.

While this is not a guarantee of coverage from your insurance company, it will help you know what to expect in terms of cost.

3. Intake Forms

Prepare for a successful new patient appointment

After scheduling your new patient consultation, we'll email you intake forms to complete before your first appointment. These forms are required and must be submitted by the specified date to avoid cancellation.

Medication History
Some treatments require that you have tried 3+ antidepressants before insurance will cover them. To expedite prior authorization, our intake forms need your psychiatric medication history, including names, dates, and dosages of all antidepressants. Contact your pharmacy or current care team for records.

4. New Patient Appointment

Your first appointment
This 90-minute, in-person appointment with one of our psychiatrists includes a full mental health history and a discussion of treatment options. Typically, patients decide on a treatment plan during this appointment.

Insurance Authorization
If needed, your doctor will submit a prior authorization request to your insurance company. Approval usually takes 3-4 weeks.

5. Treatment Begins

Once we receive prior authorization approval from your insurance company, our front office will call you to schedule your treatment appointments; the entirety of your treatment protocol will be scheduled in advance. Every course of treatment requires regular follow-up appointments with your psychiatrist to evaluate treatment progress and make adjustments as needed.
